Work Mode is used to set an operator's productive status.
Work modes are automatically selected by the system depending on the conditions of the station. All work modes belong to a work mode set that is selected by the user.
Type ✎
The type of the work mode determines if the worker will be compensated for their time (Off Standard) or for the operations performed (On Standard). There is also Pause, where no compensation is given.
Factor ✎
The factor is multiplied with the SMV/Piece Rate to either give the operator a bonus or a penalty to their earnings.
For example, you could set up a "training" work mode set that is used by trainees and gives a percentage bonus to encourage learning new operations.
