The hardware setup wizard is a guide to setup/create main lines, stations and bridges.
It is a useful step by step tool making the setup of lines, station sand bridges simpler. Also a help, not to forget ny parameter.
Detailed information is also available in the help text for each selection.
Start the wizard by selecting Hardware and then Hardware Setup Wizard from the left pane.
Setup of main Line
To create a new main line, click on the "Setup Line" button in the wizard main menu.
Step 1
The below screenshot shows the first step in line setup.
Enter the number for the new line, node id for the line server (main line server) and select ICU that the line server and the motors shall be connected to.
Click on next to proced to step 2
Step 2
In this step the parameters for the line server is set.
Enter value for cog counter sensors time out, default value is 100.
If a product detecter is connected to this line server, the value for "Has product detector" shall be set to 1
Enter pulse cog value and how long time the unloiading arms on this line shall be kept open when unloading carriers from main line (Unloadcogshold)
Click on next to proceed to step 3
Step 3
In this step the motors and motor groups are added
Select if new motors shall be added, or if existing ones shall be used. If new, fill in the values for power limit, speed, acceleration and deceleration.
Then add motors.
Enter the range of motor id's for this line/FB (From id to id) and click on the + button. Now the motor id's are created and the serial numbers shall be filled out in the empty box for each motor.
When done, click on "create" and the new line is created and saved. The below green message is the verification that the line/FB was succesfully created.
