Web Terminal - Basics

Web terminal basics

The Web Terminal is used as a complement to the regular terminal. Usually this is done on a tablet connected to the station, in reach of the operator at that workplace.

The web terminal can display more information than the regular terminal, as well as images, video, PDF documents etc depending on the needs. A common use case is to display sewing instructions for a specific operation.

Before using the web terminal it needs to be paired with a regular terminal. This is for safety and security reasons to make sure that they are in the same physical location when performing tasks.

The second functionality of the web terminal is fault registration. Please see the following guide.

At the top you will find the web terminal top menu. It consists of buttons for selecting page, information about the station, carrier and logged in user, as well as current connectivity to the server.
Before pairing the web terminal to a terminal only limited information will be shown.
