Mechanic
This is a safety feature that allows a mechanic to lock the line before doing maintenance.
The lock is removed by resetting or starting the line. Whenever another user's lock is present, the line cannot be started.
A lock may be overridden using the ..1 F8 command by a user with the right permission.
Forcefully re-enable a line locked with "..0 F8". This can normally only be unlocked by the user that put the lock.
⚠️ This feature must be used with care to not endanger any mechanics still working on the line.
Stops the line and forces manual start via line server
A stopped line can only be restarted from line server via The 1 F8 command.
Starts the line
This command also reenables auto start of the line
Pause the line
A paused line may automatically restart itself due to station chains moving or carriers entering the line via bridges
Resets the line after it has stopped due to a motor/line error.
⚠️ Repeatedly resetting a stuck line may break the drive belt. If resetting once does not work, perform a visual inspection of the line to find the problem point and resolve the issue mechanically.
Run the line in reverse for a short distance.
Reversing the line should be used with caution when the conveyor belt is stuck.
The line must be free or error status for the reverse command to succeed.
