Enter a terminal command to show the fault registration menu and begin registering a fault on the carrier in work position of the current station.
Open the fault registration menu. If a fault is registered, the current operation will be aborted.
After the repair has been made, the carrier will return to this operation.
Open the fault registration menu. Currently ongoing operation will not be aborted.
After the repair has been made, the carrier will continue to the next operation in the route.
Step 1 - Faulty Operation
The first step during fault registration is selecting the faulty operation.
Browse the operation list with F1, F2 until the faulty operation is shown. The first shown operation is the most recent
If the setting Register Fault on Operation Group Id is activated, the operation groups will be listed instead of the operations.
Press F3 to select an operation (or operation group) or F4 to exit the menu without adding a fault.
Step 2 - Select Fault
Now another list will be displayed with the fault codes that have been added to the system. Browse this list the same way with F1, F2 and select the fault with F3 or go back to the previous step with F4.
Depending on the type of fault, this may or may not be the last step.
If the selected fault type has a repair type which is "free" or a variant of it, then you must now select the operation(s) that will be performed as part of the repair.
Step 3 - Select Repair Operation(s)
Browse the operation list with F1, F2. Push F3 to select the repair operation or go back to the previous step with F4. If the repair type is "multiple free", you will get a question after you have made the selection if you are finished

Confirm with F3 to finish the fault registration or decline with F4 to keep adding more repair operations.
Finalize
Once a fault code has been added, it will not be finalized until the operator switch is pressed on the station. To remove previously added faults that are not yet finalized, there is a terminal command.
