The metrics menu is available with terminal command
See also Topic: Metrics for more general information about metrics, as well as the individual metrics values.
This menu will let you view the counter for each hardware metric as well as to reset the short counter or replace a component.
Component Holder
The first step of the metric is to select the "component holder", like a station or a line. Each of these is comprised of many different sub-components. Browse with F1 and F2 to select the component holder, input the component holder id, then press F3 to continue.
Component Holder Id
Node - Enter complete 5 digit node id
Station - Enter station id
Line - Enter line id
Carrier - Enter carrier id
ICU - Enter ICU id
Component
Once the component holder has been selected, you can browse with F1, F2 and select the sub-component, such as the different parts on a station (operator switch, unloading arm etc). This step does not require any id to be inputted.
Metric
The metrics for the component are now available. Browse with F1, F2 to view the different metrics. Row 2 of the terminal message will contain the counters in the format
Long Counter | Short Counter | Day Counter
Pressing F3 on any of these options will reset the short trip counter.
There is also one option in this menu for "Replace Part". This is for when a mechanic replaces a part during maintenance work. Pressing F3 will register a replacement as well as reset all of the counters. This will be logged to the maintenance history in the same way as when registering a replacement via the Metrics page in the UI. It is not possible to leave any comments when registering a replacement via the terminal.
