Piece works very similarly as SMV, but while the SMV works by measuring the total number of standard minutes earned by an operator, piece rate instead gives a fixed amount of money per operation performed.
💡 Both modes gives incentive to the operator to work quickly and correctly, however since piece rate doesn't measure minutes, it's not possible to calculate values for efficiency and performance.
Piece rate is also affected by any workmode factor that applies to an operator.
