A 'user' is basically anyone that will work on the Eton system. This could be operators, supervisors, and mechanics for example. A user needs to have both accounts and login permission for the login process to work.
Employee Number ✎
The employee number is a numeric identifier used within the organization to uniquely identify a user. This is very commonly also used as the terminal login user name.
First Name ✎
First name / given name of the user.
Last Name ✎
Last name / family name of the user.
Email ✎
Email address for the user
Mobile Phone ✎
Phone number for the user
Profile Picture ✎
An image or avatar of the user.
Sample To Route ✎
What sampling route to use when inspecting samples from this operation.
Sampling Rate ✎
The chance that the product will be sent off to a sampling inspection after the user has completed an operation.
Roles ✎
The roles assigned to a user determines what functionality is available. As a basic guideline, users should not be given roles that they do not require in their daily work.
For security reasons, to assign roles to a user, the person assigning the role must also have that role. Alternatively, the user with permissions Administrate Users + Administrate Roles can assign any role to any user.
Language ✎
The preferred language of the user. This does not have to be the same language as the default language.
Locale ✎
The locale of the user. The locale is used to set for instance date/time format, number/currency format etc.
