Criteria are used to add extra properties to order lines.
Main uses for criteria
- Addressing - Keeping carriers with similar criteria together.
- Buffer Callings. Use the criteria to address - or call out - by color, size or any other Criteria Type of your choice.
- Operation Rules - Only perform some operations for carriers with certain criteria.
- Operator Message - Information to the operator to show on terminal.
The criteria of an orderline is most commonly given by the customer or the ERP-system prior to adding the orderline to Eton. In which case it is usually imported along with the order/orderlines, but the loading operator can also alter or set criteria upon loading the products.

Code ✎
The optional Code is used as a more compact, numerical representation of a criteria value to be displayed on terminal. Also used in some cases where criteria are assigned or retrieved via terminal commands.
Description ✎
The description provides additional information to the critieria, for instance when the criteria name is a code value "7B938" and you want to provide a more human readable description.
