The orders and their order lines hold information as to what is to be produced on the Eton System.
Article ✎
This is the article that we want to produce. An orderline always need to have a designated article.
Express ✎
Indicates that the order line should be handled as express. This can be set on rails as a criteria routing rule, or for instance for skipping feeding buffers operations. Please see Express topic
IsAutoDeleteBlocked ✎
Indicates that the order line should not be deleted automatically when running the daily maintenance. Please refer to system settings EnableAutoDeleteCompletedOrderLines and EnableAutoDeleteUncompletedOrderLines
Load Count ✎
The load count shows the number of products for this order line have been physically loaded onto the Eton System on a loading station. It does not describe the current number of carriers in the system for this order, as some may have been unloaded or rejected.
Ordering Point Operation ✎
ℹ️ This field is used for warehouse orders only.
The Quantity Minimum and Maximum Limits are controlled against the number of products currently in the Eton System. But it might not be relevant to count in all products currently in Eton. Typically are products already on their way to unloading not interesting for the purpose. The Ordering Point Operation then should be set the operation prior to unloading - normally the unloading buffers.
It might also be that a specific production area is the actual capacity bottleneck, in which case the Ordering Point Operation might be the last operation in that production area.
Order Line Criteria ✎
The orderline can hold extra details about the article, such as color variants or different sizes. These criteria values can then be used for sorting the products at stations or used when calling out from buffers.
E.g
Thread Color : Dark Blue,
Size : 200 x 180
Order Line Number ✎
The order line number. This does not have to be globally unique, unlike an Order Number. Just unique within this order.
However, if this is globally unique, a simplified loading command can be used
[OrderLineNumber] F6
Original Order Line Number ✎
The original order line number.
Since the order line number used in ETON must be numeric to be handled via terminals, this field can be used as a reference back if the original order Line number - from any pre-system, contains letters or other non-numeric characters.
Under system configuration you can choose to show and use original order number and thus original order line number, or not.
Quantity ✎
The quantity to produce.
Note that this field is not shown for warehouse orders, which are meant for continuous production.
Quantity Minimum Limit ✎
ℹ️ This field is used for warehouse orders only.
The Quantity Minimum Limit is used to know when to start loading this article. It can basically be seen as an ordering point.
Quantity Max Limit ✎
ℹ️ This field is used for warehouse orders only.
Overloading certain articles is likely to become an obstruction to produce other needed articles. This as there is only capacity for a given number of products (calculated with the bulk factor in mind) in the system.
The Quantity Maximum Limit is the limit which shouldn't and can't be exceeded, to maintain enough capacity for all articles. It is a customer set limit and needs to be calculated based on the number and spread of low-, medium- and high- runner articles for each coming production period.
Reject Count ✎
The reject count shows how many products of this order line have been rejected. Rejections should be done when it's determined that the product is no longer viable and is done by registering a reject fault.
It holds rejections due to irreparable faults, but also system rejects due to re-loading a carrier with a new product at a loading station, and thus automatically rejecting the previous loaded product.
Second Quality Count ✎
The second quality count/"# 2nd quality" shows how many products of this order line have been considered second quality products.
Unload Count ✎
The unload count is the number of products that have completed the production route and been unloaded for this order line. Rejected carriers are not counted as unloads, but second quality products do count as unloads.
Was Last Produced At ✎
The time when this product was last unloaded.
