The route is the heart of the addressing feature in ETONingenious. It is used to create the operations in the sequence they are performed. This includes the work stations and rails that will be utilized for the manufacture of the orderline, the addressing strategy and the SMV earned for each operation.
Route Type ✎
The Route Type of the current route such as production, repair or inspection.
Name ✎
Name of the route.
Description ✎
Optional description text about the route.
Route Code ✎
Route codes can be used to reference an inspection or return empty carrier route via terminal commands.
Example:
Send carrier on inspection route:
Aborts current operation for carrier in work position and sends it for inspection on a given route.

Send carrier on an empty carrier route (can only be done on empty carriers):
Send an empty carrier on a specific empty carrier route.

Empty Carrier Route ✎
An empty carrier route must be assigned to all production routes. The route will take empty carriers back to the carrier storage and loading stations.
