If you want to make a buffer call, but buffer contents are not showing up this may be due to different reasons
Are the products physically in the buffer?
Check that the products are physically on the buffer rail. Any carriers heading to the buffers are not included in the buffer content.
Is the buffer station online?
An offline buffer station will not be included on the buffer content view.
Is the station configured as a calling buffer?
Only content on stations configured as "Calling Buffer" or "Calling Buffer (Fifo)" will show up as buffer content. Check via the Station Settings page in the UI.
Is the station automation enabled?
Check that automation has not been turned off via station settings or use the terminal to re-enable automation
Are the carriers in the buffer addressed to a buffer operation?
The carriers may physically be in the buffer but not set to perform a buffer operation. Check carrier status for a few of the carriers on the buffer to determine if they are set to perform a buffer operation.
Temporarily configuring the station with "Recycle" buffer logic can correct cases where the current operation is different from what is expected.
Notes
Already released carriers are automatically excluded from the buffer content. If the carrier was released by the logic but for some reason did not leave the station, it will not show up in the content view.
