The recycle limit controls how many times a single product can be recycled on the same operation. It can be configured on three different levels, which are from least to highest priority:
System Default → Operation Group → Operation
Value | Meaning |
---|---|
(empty) | Use inherited value |
-1 | Unlimited |
0 | Not allowed |
1+ | Limited recycling allowed |
The recycle limit affects the usage of terminal command
Aborts current operation for carrier in work position and sends it for a recycle
Only works on primary terminal. On a loading station, the carrier will always be sent back to the same station. On other stations, the carrier can go to any station valid according to the route and the addressing strategy.
Use of recycle function can be limited. See Topic: Recycle Limit. Limit can be ignored with Permission: Ignore Recycle Limit.
Sending to inspection or repair does not count toward the recycle limit.
Users with the permission Ignore Recycle Limit are not affected by this limitation and can recycle as much as they want.
