Station locks are applied to a station to prevent chain movement until favorable conditions have been met.
Not Logged In
Work stations will generally not allow operations to be performed without having a logged in operator.
Solution
Log in an operator via terminal commands.
Login in a user on the terminal. If a password is set on the account, the user will be asked to input it.

Non Productive Work Mode Set
If the user is in a pause work mode or other work mode set that is not set as a productive, operations cannot be performed.
Solution
Enter a terminal command to change the work mode to one that is productive. "0" is the standard set that is used for regular operation.

Carrier Not Loaded
The operator is attempting to send off a carrier on a loading station that has not been assigned to an order.
Solution
Normally, the carrier should be loaded to an order, after which this lock will disappear.
Loads order to the carrier in working position
The quantity of the carrier will be set to the default of the loaded article.
orderNumber | Order Number |
orderLineNumber | Order Line Number |
Sometimes, the operator may wish to send off an empty carrier if a previous carrier is in the station chain on its way up to the line.
Aborts current operation for carrier in work position and sends it for a recycle
Only works on primary terminal. On a loading station, the carrier will always be sent back to the same station. On other stations, the carrier can go to any station valid according to the route and the addressing strategy.
Use of recycle function can be limited. See Topic: Recycle Limit. Limit can be ignored with Permission: Ignore Recycle Limit.
This command will make the empty carrier take a lap on the line and return to the same loading station. Make sure you do not not have a product in the carrier when using this command.
Unknown Carrier
When the station reader cannot properly read the carrier, the station will be locked until the operator inputs the number of the carrier in work position.
This is slightly different from the case when the carrier can not be read at all, in which case it will stay in the station reader and not proceed.
Solution
To solve the immediate issue, use the attach terminal command to manually input the carrier id.
If the same problem keeps happening on the station, ask a mechanic to inspect the station reader and reposition or replace it.
If the problem keeps happening on the same carrier, the RFID tag on the carrier may be damaged. Ask a mechanic to remove the carrier from the system for inspection/repair.
Terminal Mode
Certain terminal modes may temporarily lock the station, such as when there is an ongoing fault registration. Cancel or complete the mode to remove the lock.
Routing Error
If the carrier cannot reach its destination, the station will be locked until the routing error has been resolved.
See Routing Errors.
Customer Specific
The stations may also be locked by a custom specific logic. Check the integration specific documentation for more information on these.
Special Locks
These should not appear on regular work stations
Buffer Logic
The buffer logic has decided that we do not yet want to dispatch this carrier. For example, the buffer may be set up as with buffer call logic, and there is no current call for any carrier on that station.
Transparent Lock
This lock should never be displayed on the terminal, but is applied internally to every station except stations marked as Automatic. What this does is prevent chain movement if the system somehow becomes unresponsive.
