Remember Operation

Function available from version 1.13

The Remember Operation setting controls how a product that already has visited an operation should act when it is addressed back to that same operation again.

A carrier will return to the same operation after any of the following commands are used

  • Abort Operation / Recycle Carrier

Aborts current operation for carrier in work position and sends it for a recycle

Only works on primary terminal. On a loading station, the carrier will always be sent back to the same station. On other stations, the carrier can go to any station valid according to the route and the addressing strategy.
Use of recycle function can be limited. See Topic: Recycle Limit. Limit can be ignored with Permission: Ignore Recycle Limit.

  • Abort Operation + Send to inspection

Aborts current operation for carrier in work position and sends it for inspection on a given route.

🔒 Requires Permission 0034 • Send to Inspection
    inspectionRouteCode

Route code of inspection route to send carrier on

  • Abort Operation + Send to repair

Open the fault registration menu. If a fault is registered, the current operation will be aborted.

    🔒 Requires Permission 0036 • Register Fault

After the repair has been made, the carrier will return to this operation.

  • Changing station work position

It can be configured on three different levels, which are from least to highest priority:

System Default → Operation Group → Operation

  • If the operation setting is not set, the operation group setting will be used
  • If the operation and operation group settings are not set, the system default value will be used

Setting values are one of the following

None

Nothing is remembered and carrier will be addressed according to the addressing strategy of the operation.

Station

The station is remembered and the carrier will if possible try to go back to the same station it was previously. If the station is blocked, full or cannot be sent to for some other reason, the carrier will go to a different open destination.
